After careful thought and consideration, PASAE has made the difficult decision to postpone the 2021 Connections Conference. Previously scheduled for May 6 & 7, PASAE’s leadership has taken multiple factors into consideration in making this determination. Please know there have been countless discussions regarding registration numbers, member concerns around travel restrictions and thoughts shared by exhibitors as to what will make this a beneficial experience for all involved and a very realistic review of the financial impacts in hosting a May event. With all of those factors considered, we felt it best to have the conference occur at another time.

Please know we were sincerely looking forward to gathering and seeing everyone in person. A new date for the meeting has not yet been set and before we do so, we’d like to ask for your thoughts. Please take a moment to complete this brief survey regarding new conference dates. We are still looking to make this an in-person experience, providing you with an opportunity to obtain continuing education credits and a chance to network and fellowship with your PASAE family.

We’d like to sincerely thank the Kalahari Resorts and Conventions for working with us to host a safe event and we look forward to the rescheduled date. If you have already booked your room at the Kalahari, they will honor the PASAE room rate if you still plan to visit in May. No cancellation fees will be applied for cancelling. The Kalahari invites you to take advantage of many of the fun activities they have to offer.

We’d also like to thank the Pocono Mountain Visitors Bureau for their efforts to support this year’s conference. They were providing attendee swag bags that would include reusable masks and hand sanitizers. They were also offering us the chance to work with their 3C Program as the conference service project this year. There is still a way to support that effort. A message is forthcoming regarding the program and ways we can be involved.

We’d also be remiss if we didn’t acknowledge the members of PASAE’s Education Committee. They have worked tirelessly to plan a robust event this year from the identification of topics and speakers to remaining flexible and always working to keep everyone’s health and safety top of mind.

For anyone who has registered for the conference as either an attendee or exhibitor, your registration will be maintained for the new dates. If you would prefer a refund, please contact staff at [email protected].

Thank you for being a PASAE member and supporting the association while we work through the best way to serve you in this year of recovery. We will see you again soon.
