Active Shooter Threats – Run, Hide, or Fight?

Active shooter threats present unique challenges for those involved. Mental preparation and having a plan are vital to help you manage the situation. When faced with an active shooter event, three options are available: Run, Hide, or Fight. This session will identify the actions to take within these options and help you create a plan.

Speaker - Master Trooper Angel Garcia
Master Trooper Angel Garcia has been employed by the Pennsylvania State Police for the past 24 years and is currently stationed at the Chambersburg Barracks of Troop H, Harrisburg. He serves as the Community Service Officer for the areas of Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin and Perry counties. His duties include media relations, safety education, crime prevention, community liaison, Southcentral Camp Cadet Director, and serves on many boards and committees throughout the community.
Tpr. GARCIA is originally from the Lehigh Valley area and now resides in Franklin County. He is a 1994 Graduate of the Pennsylvania State Police Academy. He is married and has three wonderful children.
