Meet Stephani Bann, Assistant Director of Sales at the Kalahari Resorts and Conventions. We recently asked her some questions about her experience with PASAE.

How long have you been a member of PASAE? Why was membership important to you?

I have been a member of PASAE for more than six years. Membership was important to me from the moment I joined Kalahari. I knew that PASAE was the leader in Pennsylvania’s association market for education/networking and that it would give me the opportunity to present our incredible property to the state association community.

What has been your greatest area of growth within PASAE?

I have loved being a part of several committees and now being given the opportunity to serve on the Board of Directors is something I am truly excited about!

How has your involvement in PASAE contributed to the success of your work with and on behalf of your own organization?

Through my membership and involvement, I have had the pleasure of meeting great people – many of whom have become close friends. I’ve also had the honor of hosting annual conferences, board meetings and various events for PASAE members. Working with associations to create events that increase their attendance, drive their profits, and create memorable experiences for their attendees is so rewarding for me.

How has the past year shaped your involvement in PASAE?

This past year has strengthened my relationships with so many of our members. I’ve collaborated with other suppliers on ideas and safety protocols, participated in many discussions with planners on re-structuring their events for the current climate and, most importantly, we have all been there to support each other through zoom calls, webinars, virtual education opportunities and so much more.

Why was involvement at the leadership level important to you? What are your objectives for 2021?

Being a part of the board is important to me as I think the voices of business members go hand in hand with those of our planner members when strategizing the revitalization of our industry and how we move forward from this pandemic.
